Ordering

François Boulangerie – Saiakoda accepts orders via this website and via its linked Facebook page, www.facebook.com/saiakoda.

Website orders

Upon placing an order via our website, you will be requested to choose a payment method, which can be either cash or card on collection. For your order to be valid, you have to choose a pickup date, which is the date on which your bread(s) will be baked and ready to be picked up within the opening hours. Because we make bread using long fermentations and natural methods, it is not always possible to choose a date earlier than 2 working days after the moment of ordering, within our opening hours.

Opening hours

Our bakery only makes bread on order. You have to place an order before coming to pick up bread from us. We are open for collection of your order on Saturdays from 10.00 to 13.00. The bakery address is Härjapea 17, Tallinn 10320.

Order Cancellations and Amendments

If you wish to cancel or amend your order, you must let us know as soon as possible. We will offer a full refund for order cancellations at our discretion, provided we have not started to prepare the order. We will do our best to accommodate any order amendments, provided we have the resources to do so. Extra charges or refunds may be applied to order amendments.

Refunds will only be made to the same payment method/account with which your order was placed.

If you fail to show up within the opening hours on your chosen date of pick-up to take possession of your order, you will not be refunded. If, for whatever reason, you are not able to pick-up your order, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can see how we can help you further at our discretion.

Products, allergens & Prices

Product descriptions and ingredients may change from time to time. We will update the allergen information as necessary on our site for your information. Our bakery handles nuts and seeds, including sesame seeds and peanuts, so we cannot guarantee traces of nuts will not be found in our products.

All our breads can also contain small amounts of rice flour on the surface, which is used for dusting the cloth in which the bread rise.

While most of our breads (Pain de Campagne, baguettes and all other savoury breads) are free of lactose and products of animal origin, other types of breads (including but not limited to sweet breads, croissants, pains au chocolat, viennese pastries, buns) may contain ingredients such as butter, milk, eggs, and chocolate with soy lecithin, among others.

All breads may therefore contain traces of all the ingredients mentioned above, as they are all made in the same premises.

Therefore, we do not accept any liability for any damage to health or any distress caused to you by the consumption of our products.

While our breads are naturally lower in gluten than many other breads, they are still made with wheat flour that does contains gluten, and are therefore not gluten-free. Many people find them easier to digest, but this differs from person to person and it may not be the case for you. If you suffer from celiac disease or any severe condition where the consumption of gluten is a hazard to your health, do not consume our products. Therefore we do not accept any liability for any gluten-related damage to health or distress caused to you by the consumption of our bread.

Prices listed on our website may change from time to time. Promotions may be applied outside of the website, on social media platforms for example, with prices differing from the website price on occasion.

Should the price shown on our website be out-of-date, we are under no obligation to provide the products to you with the incorrect (out-of-date) price, unless we have already sent you an invoice.

Prices of items shown includes VAT the Estonian VAT (KM) rate of 20%.

The terms and conditions related to the products (including allergens information) also apply to any products sold through the Facebook page at www.facebook.com/saiakoda, including special orders (one-off orders for a customer, made to their requirements), special or seasonal products not usually sold by us, as well as other products made by third-parties that we might be selling.

Payment

We accept payment in cash or with card upon collection. Card payment are processed by SumUp, Inc.

All credit/debit cardholders/bank account holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer or bank. If your bank or the issuer of your payment card refuses or for any reason does not authorise payment to us, whether in advance of or subsequent to a payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of the order.

Collection of your order

We prepare our products to be collected by you from our bakery (Härjapea 17, Tallinn 10320) on the date you chose when ordering. Once your order has been collected by you, the products will be at your own risk. We will advise the best storage options to keep your order as fresh as possible for as long as possible, but be aware that bread loses its freshness gradually, especially under less-than-ideal storage conditions. All bread sold is baked on the same day, unless stated otherwise.

Returns, Replacements & Refunds

Please check your order upon collection. If upon collection, you notice your order contains products not ordered by you (for example, the wrong type of bread), the order is incomplete, you must notify us immediately by email to bread@francois.ee or through message on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/saiakoda). In the case of damaged orders, please also take a photo of the damages and send them to us. At our discretion we may offer a refund or replacement of products within your order.

We may only be able to make a refund to the original payment method used by you to make the purchase.

We will have no liability to you for any indirect loss.

As taste is a very personal matter and subjective we cannot accept the return of any products because you do not like the taste. We however want our customers to be happy and value any constructive criticism. We may offer you compensation, and/or adjust the production process of the product (example: bake it less dark) on a next order for you at our discretion only.

Offers and Discounts

We may, from time to time, offer discounts on our products. These are offered and distributed at our discretion. They may be posted on our Website as well as on Social Media channels such as Facebook or Instagram, or through third-party partners. They might not appear on our Website.

Our right to vary these Terms and Conditions

We have the right to revise and amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time.

You will be subject to the Terms and Conditions in force at the time that you order Products from us, unless we notify you of the change to those policies or these Terms and Conditions before we send you the invoice (in which case we have the right to assume that you have accepted the change to the Terms and Conditions).
